We envision a society where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

We seek to support initiatives that create pathways to economic prosperity for communities that have been under-resourced.  We do this by investing in organizations that have high potential for achieving systemic impact.  We also support funder collaboration efforts to promote a more equitable and efficient philanthropic ecosystem.

Our Values

  • EQUITY

We believe that all people, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, and other identifying factors, deserve the opportunity to thrive. Institutional racism and other forms of discrimination have created a society with disparities in opportunities and well-being. We seek to support efforts to dismantle these barriers in order to co-create a just and equitable society.

  • LEARNING

We acknowledge that we do not have all of the answers and therefore value learning from those with relevant knowledge, including those most proximate to the work. We test assumptions and adapt our approach based on the new information we learn in order to maximize impact.

  • PARTNERSHIP

We recognize the complexity and magnitude of the challenge we are trying to solve and know we cannot address it on our own. We seek to collaborate with grantees, funders, and policymakers to bring a diversity of perspectives, lessons, and complementary skills to this work.

  • TRUST

We believe that trust is built over time and is an essential element of successful relationships. We seek to operate with honesty and hold ourselves accountable for our words and actions. One way we demonstrate trust in our grantees is by providing general operating support.
